Volkswagen T1, Westfalia Camper SO42 (1966). Fully restored vehicle. This version of the T1 is particularly sought after with its Westfalia SO 42 camper pack. The Transporter was brilliant for its simplicity and versatility, embodying the hippie culture of the 1960s and 1970s. A true cultural icon, this T1 is from the last year of production, with separate windows, before the introduction of the T2.
Our model has its original 1,493 cc engine with its 54 hp, and its original 4-speed manual gearbox. The mechanics and the bodywork have been restored and are in a remarkable condition.
This T1 is equipped with the Wesfalia package, by the German company Westfalia-Werke. This package includes the famous sunroof, screened windows with Venetian blinds, curtains, sink, refrigerator, folding tables and configurable seats for eating or sleeping.
