This MGA 1600 MK1 in nice condition was produced in 1960. It is one of the most sought after versions of the MGA. The MGA 1600 MKI (1959-1961) with its “Austin B-Series 1 588 cm3” engine was produced in 31 419 units.
It is located in Macon (71000) in France. Its owner owns it since 1995. He has used it for vintage rallies and summer rides. He indicates that the exact mileage is unknown because the meter has only 5 digits.
The car is equipped with an 1800 engine with 5 bearings and a corresponding gearbox. This engine intended for the MGB develops 95 horsepower and offers an appreciable extra power and torque for this type of car. It is also considered more reliable than the original 1600 engine.
